The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced on April 4, 2016 that it awarded over $10 million to a whistleblower. This is the largest award made by the CFTC’s Whistleblower Program.
The development serves as an important reminder. Companies are generally aware of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, and the protections and incentives it provided to whistleblowers, but they perceive Dodd-Frank as an extension of the SEC. This CFT...

A German spokesman for Volkswagen declined to comment on the case, citing the fact that "as a matter of principle" the company didn't comment on legal proceedings concerning labor law, Reuters reported.
The Volkswagen scandal dates back to September, after the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency discovered a so-called defeat device in the company's diesel cars. It turned out that those cars had software that could detect when the cars were being tested and would then improve test results ...

I got online, checked the state's mineral activity and surprise, almost shocked, that at the...

Following the sexual assault of a Peace Corps volunteer in 2014, Peace Corps clinical psychologist Dr. Kris Morris issued behind-the-scenes “gu...

Seattle Police Department Whistleblower
As the Seattle Police Department’s attorneys would have her known, Sgt. Ella Elias is a conniving malcontent hoping to be made a millionaire with taxpayer money.

That’s the story SPD is selling.
